Since the 1980's the SNAPIDLE has been used to tension drive chains for rectangular collectors in waste water sewage treatment plants. This UHMW tensioner with stainless steel hardware has replaced the old style sprocket and cast iron arm bracket at these plants all across the country. Consulting Engineers, as well as municipalities, specify the SNAPIDLE for there drive applications. To date, SNAPIDLE is the only automatic chain tensioner offered in the waste water industry. The SNAPIDLE will triple the life of the chain drive at a fraction of the cost of the traditional tensioning method and takes only minutes to install. A harsh environment will not compromise the performance of the SNAPIDLE but rather acts as a lubricant. The SNAPIDLE never has to be lubricated. Use the SI 180 SNAP IDLE to tension all steel, plastic, and stainless steel; #78 drive chains. Allied-Locke, UST, Tsubaki, Rex Nord, US Filter, Polychem and Whitney Reynold, are just a few of the chain manufacturers. |
