The SnapIdle, is a new approach to solving the problems of maintaining tension on moving chains. This is accomplished by establishing and controlling the chain path vs. constant tension on the chain  It's easy to install, no brackets or mounting points are necessary and it can be easily retrofitted to equipment currently utilizing other, more expensive and maintenance intensive tension systems.

Since the 1980's the SNAPIDLE has been used to tension drive chains for rectangular collectors in waste water sewage treatment plants. This UHMW tensioner with stainless steel hardware has replaced the old style sprocket and cast iron arm bracket at these plants all across the country. Consulting Engineers, as well as municipalities, specify the SNAPIDLE for there drive applications. To date, SNAPIDLE is the only automatic chain tensioner offered in the waste water industry.
The SNAPIDLE will triple the life of the chain drive at a fraction of the cost of the traditional tensioning method and takes only minutes to install. A harsh environment will not compromise the performance of the SNAPIDLE but rather acts as a lubricant. The SNAPIDLE never has to be lubricated.
